Release Overview
The Remote Collector (RC) v18.08.02 release provides device discovery improvement and several bug fixes. The most recent Main Appliance (MA) version was v18.08.00, released June 14, 2023.

Improved Device Discovery Support
The Device42 v18.08.02 RC includes improved SNMP discovery support for the following devices:
- Cisco C9800-40-K9 – Discovery now includes serial#.
- Added diagnostics mode to HPE OneView discovery. When in diagnostic mode it will create log files containing all of the HPE OneView API call data.
Bug Fixes
- Discovery of HDS storage arrays was sometimes failing with a discovery exception error.
- oVirt discovery was not returning the IP for VMs.
